ADCADC Compass

ADC practice questions

Practise the case, not the pattern.

Use clinical vignettes followed by related single-best-answer questions so your revision depends on the details of the patient and presentation.

Independent ADC-style educational preparation. This platform does not reproduce or represent an official ADC examination.

Focused revision

Choose a study area

Work through areas such as endodontics, dental emergencies, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral medicine and pathology, and the other ADC study areas.

What makes a useful practice item?

A scenario should change the decision

Good preparation questions should require the candidate to use a finding from the vignette. Options should be clinically plausible and belong to the same decision category, rather than including obviously careless or incomplete actions.

Use a simple routine

  1. Read the patient history, examination and investigations.
  2. Identify the detail that changes the likely diagnosis or next step.
  3. Compare all options before committing to one.
  4. Review the rationale and bookmark the case if it needs another pass.
